Anybody here watch this show? Of so, what are your thoughts? I, personally, do enjoy it. Rutledge Wood cracks me up and I’m glad to see him on something other than Top Gear America. Only thing I don’t like about the show is George Flanigen.

George Flanigen.
That’s what he

Apparently he went to a high school in my town.

GEORGE IS KEITH STONE!

George or Rut? If Rut, that’s awesome.

Ah, another Alabama Opponaut, there are literally a few of us.

I think I might enjoy the show more if I make a drinking game out of it.
Every time Keith says something, you drink.

I’ve really been wanting to watch it, but no channels up here in Canada are airing it. Anyone know where I can watch it online?

You’d be sick after 20 minutes, no doubt.

TIL you are a Canadian Oppo.
Check History Channel’s website. They may have a few episodes up that you can watch!

Yup. Same town/city as Lumpy44. There’s a few of us around.
Unfortunately History channel blocks content to certain IPs. I suppose I could set up a proxy, or try the usual DNS hacks. Might be worth it.

Not if you’re a Rednek. That’s the #1 beer for Midwest Hillbillies.

I think Rut did.

We could probably fit quite comfortably in one regular passenger car.

I live in the Midwest of ‘merica and I’ve never had that garbage haha I only drink “good” cheap beer, like Busch.

Though you may be the only one that still lives there, though I wouldn’t mind ending up back there.

I was wrong. It wasn't high school. It was elementary school.

I'm here for a while longer. I'm still in high school.

Ooh! Busch is #2.
Iowans seem to prefer Keystone, Illinois seems to like Busch then Keystone, Wisconsin confuses me.

Aren’t you in the Bham area?

Yep.

I watched the first show because I like Rut.
I haven’t watched any episode since because I didn’t like the show one bit.
Waiting for TGUS to come back.

Busch is the greatest beer on earth! Illinois residents like Busch cause it’s brewed in STL (which happens to be where I live) so it’s usually a bit cheaper. It doesn’t surprise me that Iowans like Keystone haha
Wisconsin is an interesting beast. They have SO MANY beers up there that it seems like they can’t commit to one cheap beer. I visit WI every summer and have an obscene amount of cheap beer to choose from.

I’m from the Athens area. If you ever pass the rocket on 65, then you are about 3 miles from where I grew up lol.

The first episode was a bit rough. Wasn’t that the one with the DeLorean? It gets better, trust me! Rut gets funnier and George gets a bit less obnoxious, but a lot more bearable.

I think I've gone through it but never stopped.

Not much of a reason to lol.

It’s funny, even transplanted StLouisians (?) insist on Busch. They might live in Louisana and that’s still their beer..
I was born and raised in the Chicago Burbs. High Life is my go to for cheap beer.
Watch out for one cheap Wisconsin Beer. Lacrosse. It’s evil. It’s supposed to be the “true” Old Style Beer. From my experience it’s Zombie juice.

Most old people from STL are AB loyalists. My grandfather was the once the president for AB so I grew up in a family that drank ONLY Anheuser beers. Since Inbev bought AB, the loyalty has massively decreased.
High Life is definitely a good cheap beer. One of my buddies is obsessed with it and we grab it whenever he’s in town haha
Last summer in Wisconsin I drank plenty of Red Dog (worst beer on earth), Milwaukee’s Best, and Hamm’s. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks and snag a few 30’s of stuff I haven’t tried before. Any you would recommend? haha

Yeah it was the DeLorean episode. I didn't like the other guy that much... And everything about the show seemed so forced and fake, it actually started to bug me a bit, and usually I'm not bothered by that kind of thing. Also, the car they gave that dude wasn't the same one they started with. They started with a manual car, and they gave him an auto car...

Ya, I had the same gripes about the first episode. They guy who owned the DeLorean was extremely creepy and “ George ” was being a bitch about everything. What show doesn’t start out slow, though? Watch a few more episodes, give it a shot again and you may end up enjoying it!

Yeah I think the owner was a vampire maybe? Who knows... he was a strange dude.
What cars have they done in episodes since the DeLorean?
![]() 05/29/2015 at 00:40 |

They did a VW Thing, a FJ 40, a Ford F-100, and something else that I can’t remember. Watch it if you can!

Yeah he was. The transformation he did was more impressive than the car. Makes me wonder... How long did they have it? 2-3 months?

Lol yeah... my thoughts exactly.
